The Femurs – Songs from the space needle

The Femurs are an acoustic duo from Seattle. Released just last week, the new album “Songs from the space needle” is a pure power pop gem! Very refreshing, both me and Cat are stuck on it! It reminds me of Belle & Sebastian, J.D. Buhl, Eric’s Trip and very early R.E.M. A smooth mix between Jonathan Richman and The Beach Boys. But yet, still very punk rock and Ramones-infused at the core. Power pop indie-punk at it’s best! And totally, absolutely Ramonescore Club approved!
